Since we only had two participants this time around excluding myself, RenjiLuvah, we've decided to just give the prizes to the two ppl just for participating in the first place and so we'll just be voting on who gets first and who gets second. Please note your votes to myself or and we shall put a star next to the person below. The one with the most stars is first place winner. Voting will end in a week on the 12th.

ONLY MEMBERS OF THIS GROUP CAN VOTE! I've received some votes from non-members (and yes, I checked) and so I had to leave the stars blank until they join. If they do not join or respond, those votes will not count.

Valentines Day/White Day Contest 2010


Duration: February 10th - March 31st of 2010

Requirements: To submit media of any kind such as art, fanfiction, cosplay etc. to the club before the deadline based on a Valentines Day or White Day.

Don't know what White Day is? Click meh.

Rules: These submissions can be of either Okita Sougo, Kagura, both or group pictures with other characters we well, as long as either Sougo or Kagura are present:

1) Mature rated work is acceptable.
2) More than one submission is okay!
3) Inviting your friends who are not members of this club to participate in this contest, also okay!


Working in pairs is acceptable. Feel free to grab a partner and take advantage of the PChat.

When submissions are complete, submit it to the group in the proper folder for review and acceptance!

Prizes: FIRST prize winner will receive a Gintama art prize, toned or fully colored by who has, once again, so graciously offered her services. And SECOND prize winner will either receive choice 1: A Gintama fanfiction written by Please be advised that if you'd like me to write fanfiction for your prize, it will take me some time due to school and I might be more able to grant an art request (1-2 characters and minimal color) faster if you would prefer it. Muse/Theme Board Contest


Duration: August 4th - November 4th of 2009 The deadline has been extended! (I totally didn't even know my own deadline either haha)

Requirements: To submit media of any kind such as art, fanfiction, an AMV, cosplay etc. to the club before the deadline based on a theme from the Muse & Theme Board. <<Click the link XD

Rules: These submissions must be based on a theme from the board and can be of either Okita Sougo, Kagura, both or group pictures with other characters we well, as long as either Sougo or Kagura are present:

1) Mature rated work is acceptable.
2) More then one submission is okay!
3) Inviting your friends who are not members of this club to participate in this contest, also okay!
4) Wanting to add your own theme to the board for use, also A-OKAY!

Sapporo Snow Festival/April Fool's Day Event


Duration: Feb. 25th - April 1st of 2009

Requirements: To submit media of any kind such as art, fanfiction, an AMV, cosplay etc. to the club before the deadline based on one of two themes:

The Sapporo Snow Festival and/or April Fool's Day

Rules: These submissions must be on one of both themes and can be of either Okita Sougo, Kagura, both or group pictures with other characters we well, as long as either Sougo or Kagura are present. Mature rated work is acceptable. Two submissions- one of each theme is allowed as well.

Working in pairs is acceptable. Feel free to grab a partner and take advantage of the PChat.

When submissions are complete, please send myself or the club a ostit: note with the link.

Holiday Gift Exchange

The club is now opening it's first Holiday Gift Exchange! For anyone who is interested, please view the details below.


Duration: December 1st, 2008 to January 2nd, 2009

At a Glance:

1) Send a Note for participation with 3 requests before December 9th.

2) Gifts can be posted after December 16th but cannot be revealed before then.

3) I will send notes to all confirmed participants about the member and request(s) they will be fulfilling.

4) If you can't complete a request, let me know before the 16th.

How to Participate:

To participate, please sent me a NOTE ostit:, meaning myself directly (RenjiLuvah) or the club, and I will add you to a list that will be prepared.

Please send me this note before December 9th!

Every member that chooses to participate, has to understand that while they are requesting a gift, they will have to be prepared to fulfill someone else's request as well. Ah, don't we love 50/50 relationships?

How to Request:

Once I have marked all the members that will be participating, I will randomly (I swear, it will be totally random like paper from a hat lol) assign members to each other.

As for requests, please include in your note of your participation, 3 requests! These requests can range from an AMV, an art piece or fanfiction.

Be aware that the person that may receive these requests may be either a writer or an artist so please be general. Requests will include something Gintama/Okita Sougo/Kagura related of course and you can feel free to specify exactly what you want or a vague subject matter.

Once requests and participation has been confirmed, I will send each member the list of requests from another member. You're not allowed to tell that member that you're the one fulfilling their request(s) because then that would spoil it.

Entries must be completed by December 31st and you can begin posting the gifts on your DA account/ on fanfiction.net/ or on youtube.com (depending on what the request may entail) starting December 16th.

How to Post:

Once December 16th has arrived and you are ready with your gift, please post it here on DA (or if it's a fanfiction/AMV, on their sites accordingly) and provide the link to me in another note titled "Gift Complete." In the deviation, please include who the person was that you were assigned to, and the request that you are fulfilling.


General Rules:

1) I'm sure we're all adult enough to know this already, but just in case, please be respectful towards one another.

2) You cannot reveal your gift to the person you were assigned until December 16th or afterwards.

3) If you cannot fulfill a request, please let me know before December 16th.

4) All fanfiction requests made should be no less than 500 words. All writers should properly spell check their work. All artists should be willing to put effort as well.

Where's my gift?:

If it is past December 22nd, you've already been marked as a participator and have given/fulfilled requests, but still have not received your own request, please send me a note and I will return to you with a status report as soon as I can from the person who is in charge of your gift.


Another Note:

Keep in mind that I will be on vacation too around the December holidays, so if I don't get to post the gifts or respond to your notes right away at the end of the month, and you have fulfilled your request, feel free to just post it on your own account as long as it is after December 16th of 2009.

Give the recipient a shout out that you have their gift. Don't wait up for me to spread the holiday joy.

Health & Sports Day/ Halloween Contest

This club is having its first contest based on either 1) Japan's Health/Sports Day or 2) Halloween for those of you that would prefer a western holiday. If you'd like to read more on the Japanese holiday- you can find info. here:

What is this holiday?

What kind of events do schools have for this holiday?

Basically, I thought Sports Day would be a great theme for Gintama's 3z Universe (their school universe) because many schools in Japan hold their annual Field/Sports Days during this time where everyone gets together to compete in an array of sports.


Requirements: To complete an art piece of any kind, fanfiction or any media you'd like, based on the two themes listed- Halloween or Health/Sports Day. _{(someone draw Kagura tackling Sougo! cough cough.)}

Yes, other characters are allowed, as long as either or both Kagura and Okita Sougo are present. Your pieces do not have to feature OkiKagu romantically, but as long as other pairings aren't implied with either of the characters.

Duration: October 1st - November 10th 2008

Prizes: A Gintama art piece of the winner's choosing done by sakuyasworld.

Entries: Entries can be posted here, on fanfiction.net, youtube.com or livejournal.com. Please provide the link in a note ostit: to RenjiLuvah or the club when you're contest entry has been completed.
